Neel D. Mehta, MD, is the Director of the Weill Cornell Pain Management Center and an Associate Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College. He also serves as a Co-Director of the Center for Comprehensive Spine Care. He is President of the Eastern Pain Association and Director-at Large-of the New York Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr Mehta completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine in the Tri-Institutional Pain Medicine Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Embodying Weill Cornell's tripartite mission, Dr Mehta delivers superior patient care, conducts groundbreaking research, and educates doctors-in-training in the field of pain medicine. His clinical area of expertise is in musculoskeletal pain of the back, neck, and joints, post-operative pain, neuropathic disorders, pelvic pain, and cancer and cancer-treatment related pain.
Samyadev Datta, MD, is the director, is a nationally and internationally known double board-certified pain specialist and anesthesiologist. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Anesthesiologists of England. His expertise is grounded with over 30 years of helping patients in pain from all walks of life. His post-doctoral training includes positions in England and at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He completed his fellowship in pain management at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is one of the most qualified and highly trained pain management physicians in the tristate area.
He was on staff at Memorial Sloan-Kettering and Cornell Weill Medical College for many years, where he refined his skills in treating complex cancer pain patients. He was actively involved in the fellowship training program.
Stephen Dickson BSC (hons) MRPharmS has been working with LDN for over a decade in the UK. He is working together with pharma partners in the industry to stabilise the supply chain and standardise methods of obtaining prescriptions in a safe and compliant manner.
As well as running the well established private medical department of Dickson Chemist, he also runs 7 NHS pharmacies in Glasgow.
Stephen also works in several other businesses, owning a technology company responsible for dispensing the majority of the methadone in the UK in community pharmacies (MethaMeasure) and one of the largest online controlled drugs systems in the UK (CDRx). Stephen also is an advisor to Canidol pharmaceutics, a company dedicated to furthering the cause for medical cannabis in the UK and helped design the UK Cannabis Clinic Model for use in community pharmacy and primary care.
