Dr. Beth Livengood believes the purpose of medicine is to help each of us achieve our full potential, by utilizing our talents through a sound mind, body, and spirit. Along with the essential skills of a naturopathic physician, Dr. Livengood also applies various healing modalities, such as yoga therapy, diet, exercise, and motivational coaching with her patients. She earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Arizona State University, and later, a master’s degree in education. Upon graduating from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM), Dr. Livengood earned the prestigious STAIR residency position through Integrative Therapeutics.
This intensive post-graduate program combines conventional and naturopathic training with an emphasis in women’s health. Dr. Livengood is a licensed family practice physician, currently seeing patients in Phoenix AZ and via telemedicine. She also teaches yoga and medical school classes, and contributes to her profession and global medical community. Some of her projects include coordinating medical mission trips through “Where There is No Doctor” and developing yoga retreats and training programs. She is actively involved in her professional and specialty associations.
