Sajad Zalzala earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Biological Sciences before completing his Doctor of Medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, he began his career in primary care, where he developed a strong interest in prevention, systems-based medicine, and early intervention. His background in both technology and clinical medicine positioned him to work at the intersection of healthcare delivery and digital innovation.
In 2017, Dr Zalzala founded Root Causes Medical Consultants, a telehealth platform focused on functional and longevity medicine. He later co-founded AgelessRx, serving as Chief Medical Officer and helping build one of the first national telemedicine platforms dedicated to longevity therapeutics. His clinical focus includes multi-driver ageing optimisation, metabolic and immune health, and the evidence-based use of repurposed therapeutics such as low-dose naltrexone and rapamycin.
Licensed in all 50 U.S. states, Dr Zalzala has led national clinical strategy, decentralised longevity trials, and regulatory initiatives across multiple digital health platforms. He has authored peer-reviewed publications in geroscience and ageing research and is a frequent speaker at medical and longevity conferences. Through scalable telehealth systems and data-driven clinical frameworks, he continues advancing precision longevity medicine and expanding access to preventive, science-based ageing interventions.
