Gretchen Perry-Emery is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to addressing the underlying causes of chronic and complex illness. Her clinical work blends functional medicine, environmental awareness, and compassionate care to support patients and families navigating challenging health journeys.
Gretchen’s professional mission is deeply informed by personal experience. In 2005, autism touched her family, prompting a search for answers beyond conventional Western medicine. When standard approaches fell short, she began exploring integrative and functional medicine, guided by a strong conviction that healing and recovery were possible. This journey expanded through firsthand experience with conditions including autism, inflammatory bowel disease, chronic Lyme disease, Hashimoto’s disease, lupus, and other autoimmune disorders.
In 2015, Gretchen achieved dual board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the National Association of Environmental Medicine. She also serves as a PANDAS Network provider, is an associate of Functional Medicine University, and is Adjunct Faculty/Fellow of the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs.
Beyond clinical practice, Gretchen is passionate about patient education, medical freedom, and community service. She enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and serving others through her church and local community.
